Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Xoom new customer FX rate (the “Offer”), you agree to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”).

  1. Offer: Use the Xoom service through the Xoom app or at Xoom.com to send money to the Eligible Countries (defined below) and get a discount FX rate on your first transfer to the following countries from eligible EEA countries (where the Xoom service is available):
  • Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Morocco, Peru, Senegal (“Eligible Countries”)

  1. Offer Period: The Offer starts on 19 September 2025, at 12:00:01 a.m. Central European Time (“CET”) (“Offer Period”).

  2. Eligible Participant: To be an eligible participant (an "Eligible Participant”), each Eligible Participant must: (1) be at least eighteen (18) years of age; (2) be a resident in EEA (where the Xoom service is available); (3) have or create a new Xoom account and must not be in violation of these Terms and the Xoom User Agreement (a “Valid Account”) during the Offer Period; and (4) receive an authorised invitation to participate from Xoom, or view a Xoom banner inviting participation in the Offer (eligibility for/those who receive such invitation will be determined solely by PayPal). Max one Offer per Valid Account and the Offer cannot be transferred.

  3. Miscellaneous. In cases where a user has a pre-existing active discount applied to their Valid Account (received via separate communication) then this Offer will not apply. Other promotional offers may not be combined or stacked unless explicitly stated otherwise. Xoom reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify this Offer in part or in its entirety at any time in case the proper execution of the Offer cannot be ensured due to technical or legal reasons. Transactions completed in non-domestic currency are subject to a transaction exchange rate, which includes a currency conversion spread. Xoom reserves the right to review any account or transaction related to this Offer for any reasonable cause and delay completion of the Offer. Similar offers may run at the same time; qualification for this Offer does not constitute qualification for any other offer. This Offer is void if the Eligible Participant’s account or transactions are fraudulent, abusive, not completed through legitimate channels, or irregular in any way. Participants may access a copy of Xoom’s privacy policy available here or contact Xoom if they have questions or requests about the exercise of their rights, privacy and data protection.

  4. Governing law and jurisdiction. This User Agreement and the relationship between us is governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not affect your mandatory rights under the laws of the country in which you reside, such as your rights as a consumer. Any controversy, dispute, or claim arising out of or relating to the Service or User Agreement (a "Claim") shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Wherever you live in the EEA, if you bring a claim against us in court, you may bring an action against us in Luxembourg (where we are incorporated). Alternatively, you may bring a claim against us in the courts of the country where you live in the EEA. We can bring a claim against you in the courts of the country you live in.
